The first time I heard of Toronto party buses was when my brother was getting married. A few of his groomsmen had went in together to rent one for his bachelor party. Since I am his sister, I naturally was not invited, which I am eternally thankful for! I love my brother and his friends, but I certainly did not need to be a part of that male ritual. He and his fiance were using classic cars for transportation to get from the church to the reception site, so I did not have a chance to experience one there either.
When I got marred just a year later though, my fiance told me that he wanted us to have a party bus for the wedding party. He was part of my brother’s bachelor party, and he had told me how nice they are. When I expressed some doubt about having a party bus for our wedding party, he laughed because of what I was imagining. He had assured me that my brother’s bachelor party was actually very classy, and that a party bus would be the perfect, and classy, ride for our own wedding party too.
Since I trust him explicitly, I decided to go ahead and look at them with him, even though I was still envisioning a huge party even before we got to the reception site. When I looked at the pictures on the website for the limo company though, I was really impressed with what I saw. We were able to get a nice bus that holds 25 people, which is the number of people in our party as well as a few friends and relatives that we wanted with us for pictures. It turned out to be the perfect way to get from place to place that day, something my now husband has no problem reminding me of when I think his opinion might be wrong on something!
