I have to figure out a few things before I can get the project off the ground. For one thing I think that I shall have to get a transcription service to make transcripts of the podcasts for the archives. That only makes sense and the idea would be to use time stamps on it, so that you could see exactly where to go if you wanted to listen to the particular section of audio. This appears to be important because of the way that people are using the content. There is a lot of educational value if you know how to do it the right way. The information is there and you need to have it set up so that people know what it is and how to get to it. In fact you can read a transcript in a fraction of the time that it takes to listen to a podcast. Most of all you want to have it set up so that people can tell what you are looking at.
The big thing is just to have the information there so that people can look at what they will find in the podcast. Obviously a lot of the time people like me are going to be listening to these things when they can not read, but you want to know if it is worth the time for you to read it. I listen to podcasts in the car when I am driving to work and back home from work. Then I put it on when I am working out in the gym or when I am running. You get to use that time to soak up stuff that you are interested in. Of course it is easy to just put anything on, but the trick is to find the right thing.
